Every date you go on offers the unknown opportunity of a new relationship. It also offers the chance that this one isn’t the one. Many people don’t want to go through ‘finding someone’ so they try to make every person they go out with into ‘the one’. No matter how hard you try to make it work, it’s like trying to swim upstream, it’s going to be tough going and when you’re working hard to make someone fit into your idea of the right relationship – you’re not free to explore other opportunities that might be better for you.
